Homework? Right. [Alex + Jace]

Jace sucked in a breath, his eyes closing, before kissing and biting at Alex's neck. His own hand crept down the boy's chest to his boxers, copying his actions. He let out a moan, moving his kisses up Alex's neck to his lips.

Alex kissed back forcefully before he pushed Jace off him a little, "If someone finds us, I blame you entirely," he smirked, before pulling the boy back down and finally slipping off his own boxers.

Jace pulled his trousers on, a satisfied smirk on his face. "Well it's the best i've had in a book cupboard," he said, conversationally. He turned to look at Alex and smirked, "Now wasn't that much more fun than doing homework?!"

Alex finished dressing himself by pulling his shirt over his head, "Lets face it, I'll always be your best," he said with a smirk placing a kiss on the boys bottom lip, "and yes, it was more fun than homework." He shook his head laughing and tried to replace a few book to where they had come from before the door suddenly opened.

Jace laughed then stopped when he saw the librarian standing in the doorway, hands on her hips. "What are you two doing in here?" she asked, in a shrill voice.
Jace glanced at Alex then placed his most charming smile on his face, "Miss Pine, I'm terribly sorry. I was searching for a book and i couldn't find it, so i thought perhaps it would be in the cupboard. Alex here was helping me find it."
"You do realise this is a restricted section, Mr Grey? Students are not allowed in here without permission from myself."
Jace smiled apologetically, "I'm terribly sorry, Miss Pine, we'll leave right away." He smiled then tugged on Alex's hand, pulling them both out of the doorway. As soon as they were outside the library, away from the librarian, he burst into fits of laughter.

Alex rolled his eyes, "If she had come in a moment earlier..." Alex didn't need to finish the sentence, they both knew what would have happened. He smirked at the look on Jace's face, "So now where?" He asked, privately afraid that Jace would be leaving him to find someone else. He enjoyed spending time with him, everything seemed like one big adventure.

Jace smirked, "Fancy going up to the roof?" he asked, cocking his head to the side. It was nice outside, the sun shining brightly, and reasonably warm. "Come on, come on," he said, much like an excited child. He grabbed ahold of Alex's hand and pulled him along, leading him out of the building and around the back, out of the view of the teachers and other students.

Alex followed Jace and smiled at their joined hands. The sun shone brightly over the class. He licked his bottom lip as they reached the roof. "It looks so nice from up here," he said looking out to the clouds. He grinned and chewed on his bottom lip before placing a kiss on Jace's cheek. "I haven't been up here for a while."

Jace raised his eyebrow, "Really? I come up here most days. Helps me to...relax..." he said, trying to think of the best word to use. He didn't really relax, it was more to keep control. He strolled over to the middle of the roof and sat down, still holding onto Alex's hand.

Alex smiled and sat down beside him, resting his head against the boys shoulder. "I would if I had time to relax," he said quietly, "I have too much to do." He sighed and looked up at the sky. He looked down at his watch, he needed to be at work soon. He'd better think of some excuse to leave Jace, but he didn't really want to leave. He sighed again and bit his lip

Jace cocked his head to the side and looked down at Alex, "Is there somewhere you have to be?" he asked, noticing him look at his watch. If there was one word to describe Jace, other than weird, it was observant.

Alex looked at Jace an smiled, "No, not yet," he said looking down at their still joined hands. Gently he leant forward and pushed their lips together. "But soon I'll have to go. I have to go to work." he said, still smiling but not meaning it. Sure Jace might be surprised he had a job, but he wouldn't know what it was. Not until Alex trusted him completely.

Jace raised an eyebrow, "A job? Interesting... Are you sure you don't need...a helping hand?" he asked. Alex would refuse, of course he would, but it was worth a try. Most people didn't accept charity easily. But there were always the exceptions to that rule.

Alex turned to look at Jace, "I'm fine. Really. I don't need any help. I just need...more time," he said, shrugging. "Besides, I think your father might ask questions." He sighed and again looked at his watch. "Anyway, it's not that bad," he said smiling slightly, "it's not like it's hard work." He looked down at their interlocked hands and smiled. "You never know, you might be helping me one day,"

Jace shrugged, "I have my own private bank account which my father has no access too. He wouldn't know anything about it. But of course, it's up to you." He smiled and kissed his forehead. "I think i enjoy spending time with you far too much. It really isn't healthy!"

Alex bit his lip and smiled at Jace leaning his head on the boys shoulder, "Why not? There's nothing wrong with friends, is there?" He stroked his thumb across the boys hands and squeezed them gently. "It's not wrong to trust people, just dangerous," he said, remembering the things he had heard when they had gone flying, "I trust you after all," he said smiling a little.

Jace raised an eyebrow, "I wouldn't trust me if i were you. You hardly know me!" he said, strangely annoyed that Alex had said this. "Having friends is dangerous, far too dangerous. You should not have any ties. Emotions get in the way when you're fighting and friends can be used against you." He spoke as if he knew this already, as if he was speaking from experience, his voice slightly pained.

Alex immediately let go of Jace's hand. He looked at the boy, worried, "Then why are you being so nice to me? What do you want?" he asked, moving an inch or so away from the other boy. "I should leave," he said, standing to his feet. "I have work to do."

Jace cocked his head to the side and frowned, "I like being with you. It's rather....entertaining..." he said, hoping that was the right word to use. "Please don't leave just yet," he said, standing up as well. If truth be told, the question had rather stumped him. He wasn't sure why he was being so nice or why he liked being with Alex so much. It wasn't healthy for him and he certainly didn't want a repeat of last time.

Alex turned and looked back at Jace, a little hurt, "Then maybe you should find some other form of entertainment. One that doesn't have feelings." He crossed his arms over his chest as if he was waiting for some big apology. But that wasn't what he wanted, he just wanted some idea of what was going on. Why didn't Jace trust him? What reasons did he have? Alex bit his lip. Sure he and Jace had 'fun', but Alex, since the argument in the canteen with Destin, was slowly and surly loosing all of his friends. They didn't care anymore, they had other things to worry about. He knew that, and he accepted that friendships didn't last forever. But there were times when he just needed someone. Someone to talk to. Alex sighed and let his arms drop to his sides. Jace obviously wasn't going to be one of those people.

Jace frowned and walked over to Alex, wrapping his arms around the thin boy. "But i like entertainment which has feelings..." he said, softly, puzzled why Alex seemed so upset about this. "Trust is something that I don't deal in. It's just safer that way. For me and for other people," he said, his sentence slow, as he tried to find the right words. Too many times he had gotten too close to someone, told them something, only to have his father dig through his mind and rip the memory out. But the memories were never completely erased. He always remembered something, just a little detail, that pained him.

Alex leant back against Jace, not knowing how to reply. He sighed and looked out of the school, You only like entertainment that you have power over he thought, placing his hands on top of Jace's arms and pushing them away. Alex bit his lip and turned to Jace, "Maybe you should listen to this -" he poked the Jace's chest lightly, "- instead of this, all the time," he said slapping the boy around the head playfully. Looking down at his watch, he bit his lip. He still had time, if he ran.

Jace chuckled, "But this gets in the way of this," he said, repeating Alex's actions. He sighed and flicked his fringe out of his eyes. "Will you meet me later?" he asked, noticing how Alex seemed to be wanting to leave. Strange, he didn't normally do the asking. But desperate times called for desperate measures. And he really did like hanging around Alex.

Alex bit his lip and looked at the floor, the things he did rarely meant he had a steady work schedule, "I'll try," he said, hoping that tonight wouldn't bee too hard, "Where? When?" he asked, smiling slightly at the face Jace had wanted to meet him later. For something that was supposed to be a one time thing, he was doing pretty well at holding on to the other boy. Maybe that was just the effect he had on people.

Jace smiled happily then shrugged, "I don't mind. When do you finish work? I can meet you outside if you wish." He had a child-like smile on his face, as if he was 5 years old, and had just been given a new toy to play with. No wonder people thought he was mad.
