Anticipation [open]

Nick shrugged. "Well, I'll let you catch them - thrill of the chase and all - and I'll have the fun. Sounds superb to me. We can always catch pretty boys too," he said, resting a hand on Alex's thigh. This arrangement could be fun. It was certainly worth the two tattoos and the offer of accomodation anyway. "That's what we'll do. And when there's no one handsome enough for us, we'll settle for the two of us trying out new things. No girls and their irregular schedules. Except for me, when I have to keep up public calls. Which reminds me, you ought to see my nurse friend. I think you'd get along well with her, even if you say girls aren't your favourite. Believe me, when it's with three they're very different." He realised he was rambling on a bit, so he shut himself up and downed almost all of his champagne.

Alex chuckled lightly and pulled Nick down and placed a kiss on his lips, "Boys are good, but really. You're not going to convert me with your perverted imagination," he said smiling. He would have made a comment about the nurse, but he didn't want to bring up talk of the hospital. Leaning back in the chair Alex looked out onto the waking town below them. A few flashes shot through his mind of the night before. He smirked, how had he managed to function after so much alcohol? Yawning, Alex blushed as he stomach rumbled, something it hardly ever did. "Excuse me," he laughed running a hand over his covered stomach.

"I will convert you someday. I'll convert the whole world someday, then it'll be a better place. F*cking instead of fighting - sounds great doesn't it? Everyone allowed to do everyone..." A theatrically wistful look crossed his face as he stared into the distance, pulling Alex closer as he kept acting out his part. "Everyone just like you and me, and it's all kept a secret until you reach, say 16, then bam! Everything at once!" He chuckled to himself and finished his champagne before pressing his lips to Alex's. "I might have been joking about the other things," he murmured. "But you are definitely not leaving this house today. Or tonight, for that matter."

Alex laughed as he pressed their lips together, "You have a very warped mind," he chuckled sitting up on the table to get more height. He smiled at Nick, "And how do you plan on keeping me here? Chaining me up?" he smirked, partly regretting it. Who knows, Nick might be into the kind of thing.

"If needs must," he said simply, kissing Alex hungrily and wrapping his arms around him, pulling him closer quite forcefully. Chaining him up might be quite amusing, but then Nick remembered that he'd lost the key to the handcuffs - it had been quite embarrassing when he'd realised that a little too late... He ran his hands up Alex's back beneath the shirt, feeling along his spine and up to his shoulders, which he used as leverage to pull them still closer together.

Alex shivered as Nick's expert fingers ran over his back, "You wouldn't," Alex said smiling, almost daring Nick to prove otherwise. Not that he wanted to get chained up, he just wanted to gain a point from the other boy to prove he wasn't just cute and innocent. Alex licked his bottom lip as he realised Nick had quite a few love-bites along his neck. They had obviously done a lot, it was a shame he couldn't remember it. Nick didn't need to get Alex drunk to do things like that. Not really.

"I would, but I lost the handcuff keys and let me tell you from experience, that is not good. Not good at all." He smirked - it would have been funny had he not had to call in a locksmith, particularly when the girl in question had refused to help him put his pants on, so he'd had to sit there, totally naked, waiting for this sniggering man to unpick the lock and flirt with the girl at the same time, while he lay there like the helpless idiot he was. Actually, scrap that, it was hilarious. "Next time... I'll buy some more soon..."

Alex smirked, "Smooth Nick, smooth." He placed a delicate kiss on the boy's lips, "Especially for me? How sweet. But you really don't need to," he said wrapping his arms around the boy's neck. Alex mentally slapped himself, he was getting too attached. He was becoming like Destin and Nick was him. He rolled his eyes, that was the last thing he needed. Letting go of Nick he stood up and walked over to the fridge and pulled out a moldy looking piece of something, "Umm, How often do you actually cook your own food?" he asked peering into the cold smelly refrigerator. Luckily Alex had been taught how to cook by his mother, and he had cooked for himself ever since he got his own flat. But he supposed when you were rich you could just eat out all the time and not worry about it.

"I never cook for myself. I either buy things fresh - fruit and the like - or I eat out." He turned around and saw what Alex had removed from the fridge. "Don't throw that away! That's my incredibly expensive blue cheese! It's meant to be mouldy!" he cried, grabbing it and holding it close to this chest protectively. He peered into the fridge as well, thinking for a moment and ignoring the smell, before pulling out a black jar of caviar and taking a silver teaspoon from the drawer, then eating straight out of the pot.

"And how long has this incredibly expensive blue cheese resided in your fridge?" he smirked taking it back from Nick and replacing it on the shelf where he had found it. Alex looked disgustedly at the caviar and returned to the fridge for something else. But there wasn't anything. Sighed he picked a green apple from the fruit bowl and began munching on that.

"It's been there for a while, but it isn't off." He put the caviar down on the counter and disappeared into the bedroom for a moment, pulling on his boxers and some jeans, but leaving his chest bare. When he returned he pressed a button on the wall and the TV came on. Typically, it was on a porn channel, but Nick didn't seem remotely embarrassed. He just smirked at the screen and flicked it on to a music channel instead.

Alex went and sat in front of the TV. He didn't have one in his own flat so this was a treat to him. Crossing his legs and still eating the apple he stared almost transfixed at the screen. He was so glad Nick had offered to let him stay there. He could forget his one room apartment and start living the high life.

Nick stood behind him and ruffled his hair. "So are you suitably impressed by my humble abode?" he asked, returning to the kitchen to tidy up his mess. "Would you really like to join me here? I think we would enjoy each other's, ahem, company." His eyes darted across the room and remained fixated on Alex's back, hidden beneath a loose shirt. He could imagine the smooth, bare, pale skin, though - he'd seen enough of it last night.

Alex nodded as he finished his apple and threw it in the bin. "I'd love to...my whole apartment is the size of your wardrobe," he admitted finally, hanging his head slightly in shame. He'd never had a lot of money, his parents were never super rich. But then again they were sidekicks. Nothing special.

"Well then, you must help me waste all of my parents' money. I never see them, you know, they just send me cheques and cash and top up my bank account. My mother's always too busy with all of her affairs, and my father is the same, plus he's too worried about earning money to actually ever enjoy it." He sighed and sat down next to Alex, a can of some kind of fizzy drink in hand. He kissed Alex's shoulder, and then looked back to the TV. "Like I said before, stay as long as you like."

Alex smiled and leant his head against Nick's shoulder, "Thank you, for everything," he whispered curling up into Nick's side, almost cat like. Alex was very happy to be there with Nick, glad that he had gone and introduced himself, glad he had gone to Amnesia the night before. Glad Nick had been there at the hospital.

"S'alright," Nick said, shrugging and putting his arm around Alex. The TV chose that moment to switch itself over to some romantic film with sad violin music, which made Nick laugh, then onto some gay porn. He rolled his eyes, but left it, seeing as if he moved then Alex wouldn't be curled up on him any more. And he liked this - he liked it a lot.

Alex smirked and looked at Nick, "Watch this often?" he asked grinning. Alex never understood porn, why not go out and get the real thing? Unless you were too fat or ugly, in which case you didn't deserve the real thing. Maybe that was the target audience, the fat, the ugly and the really really old people. Because old people sex is just wrong.

"I like it because it's so stupid," he said, knowing what Alex was thinking - why would someone like him have to resort to porn? "They try to put storylines into the shows, but they're the most ridiculous ones in the world. Plus I have to watch some, because father sends them to me. He finances some porn films, you see. It's a stupid job, and he always sends them to me and asks what I think of them. Nine times out of nine, I think the girls are too fake and the men are too muscly. I mean, really, us last night would have made amazing porn, but do they make anything like that? No - because we've got no muscle. I only watch it when I've got nothing better to do, or if I'm too tired to argue with the TV. It's fairly relaxing at four in the morning."

"Maybe next time we'll have to film it and send it to your dad," Alex said smiling. He smirked at the image of Nick arguing with the TV. Biting his lip he carefully began to run his hand up and down Nick's thin leg. Pulling his knees closer to his chest Alex smiled and kissed Nick's neck, hoping to pull his attention away from the porn.

Nick laughed. "I think if he saw a tape of me having sex he'd say, 'That's my boy.' He's not a conventional father, that's for sure." He turned to Alex as he felt him move, and smiled at the feeling of his soft lips on his neck. "I see what you're trying to do," he teased, flicking Alex on the nose before pushing him backwards very subtly; one moment they were sitting with each other, the next Alex was on his back and Nick was on all fours over him, much as they had been in the Floating Gardens at school.

Alex chuckled lightly, "He wouldn't mind that it would be with me then?" he asked, propping himself up on his elbows to place a kiss on Nick's cheek. "And where's the camera?" he asked cheekily, but his eyes were wide open to portray his fake innocence. Looking up at Nick he licked his bottom lip, this was a position he certainly enjoyed.

He laughed and kissed Alex's neck. "I'm definitely going to have to get you some handcuffs," he whispered, and grabbed the TV remote, flicking it off. He kissed Alex's neck again, but bit gently this time, whispering, "Raawr, I'm a vampire," as he did so. Sometimes he even made himself chuckle. He wrapped his arms around Alex and pulled him close, kissing his neck and round onto his back - he could almost reach his spine.

Alex shivered slightly at the contact, his palms resting on Nick's chest. "A vampire eh?" he chuckled pushing Nick off him slightly so he could push their lips together. He smiled into the kiss, enjoying everything he could feel. Alex sat up a little, still smiling, "You know, not even handcuffs would tie me down," he smirked running kisses down Nick's own neck.

"I think you might have some problems if I swallowed the key," he whispered seductively into Alex's ear. At that unfortunate moment, however, a loud noise of objects falling to the floor broke the silence and Nick's body stiffened, alert. He looked around and saw that it was just the post being delivered, but the mood had been broken anyway, so he got up and collected the letters, rifling through them. "School, school, money from father, money from agency," he muttered as he briefly examined each one, throwing the school letters straight in the bin and leaving the envelopes containing money on the kitchen counter. "My apologies," he said, addressing Alex. "I get slightly paranoid about the post. I have had some quite serious hate mail in the past from ex-lovers. Now, where were we?"
