New school, New People, New Hell [open]

Jace walked into the Floating Gardens, his hands in his pockets. He hated his father just a little bit more for making him come here. Apparantly it was good to see who the new heroes were going to be but to him, this was just a place with far too many people. 'Maybe you'll even find yourself a sidekick' his father had said, pushing the thought into his mind so that he had started to believe it. But now he was here, out of his father's range, he couldn't care less whether there was a sidekick or not. He liked to work alone, without the ties of another person. If you wanted something done then you had to do it yourself and not rely on the fragile trust of another person. And there were so many temptations here. Lots of pretty girls and cute boys. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad if he could have some harmless fun with them. He smiled, the idea brightening his mood. The trouble with coming to school was that he would have to act like he wanted to be a hero and save people, when really he wanted to do the exact opposite.

Faith was truly fed up. Fed up of being messed around, boys, friends and home life. It all was rubbish and she already was failing on her exams and Sidekick-support, she was a failure in her own eyes. With the thoughts rushing around in her head she bumped into Jace, "I'm - so - sorry," She whispered as she bent down to retrieve the papers she had dropped along with her books, she was a mess and she was always doing something wrong, her clutched the papers tightly to her chest and looked away from the boy.

Edward currently was already sat in the gardens against a tree, he sat happily with his familular note book, he begun to sketch what he saw, the plants the few people, Edward was not much of a boff as such he had his own way his own methods he hated learning about something he hated, it was pointless yet if he didn't learn, he knew he would very much be a walking time bomb. As his hand moved back and forth over the page, he shaded and shaped, and added detail, at one point he paused to shrug out of his demin jacket to reveal his black tanktop, which was often very pratical in certain weathers. He had two of the same top. his muscles rippled as he sketched absently his mind mainly else where.

Jace scowled at the girl, "Watch where you are going next time," he said, his voice strangely cold and hard. He dusted himself off as if the girl might have placed some sort of dirt on his clothes. He narrowed his eyes at the girl then caught himself. He smiled, "I'm sorry. I'm Jace Grey," he said, correcting his voice so that it was kinder. He held out a pale hand towards her, still smiling.

Slowly, Faith took his hand as she rose from the floor, sorting her hair before shaking his hand slowly, carefully as if she could break her wrist from one small firm shake. "Im Faith," She whispered carefully with a caring glint in her electric blue eyes as she then slowly, released her hand and pushed her t-shirt into place before sorting out her skirt, trying to make it short but not in the slutty sense.

Jace smirked, "Faith. Interesting name." He didn't like names like 'Faith' or 'Hope', they seemed a little silly to him. But then again, it wasn't her fault that her mother had chosen that name. He looked her up and down, and smiled. She was pretty good looking for someone who seemed away with the fairies. "Mind on other things?" he asked, merely curious as to why this girl seemed to be so shy. She had that look in her eyes which told him that she didn't think much of herself. He felt anger towards it, more than pity. People like that frustrated him, he just couldn't understand why beautiful people couldn't see it for themselves. He was good looking and he knew it, as did many girls and boys. Why couldn't they just accept that they looked good?!

Pausing Edwardglanced around idly and that again was when he spotted Faith and a Boy he hadn't met, curiously he watched for a moment before he went back to drawing, adding further detail to his drawing. When most of it was done he snapped it shut and put it down beside him, He and Faith had started some form of relationship, mainly the friend way, picking up his bag he rested it on his shoulder, flipping his jacket over his shoulder as he carried it he approached the two of them. "Hello." He said casually to Faith more so then the boy, whom he didn't know but he nodded polietly in his direction, with a small crooked smile in greeting.

Faith turned around with a small, pleased look toward Edward as she nodded to him, "Hello Edward, this is Jace," Faith smiled back to the boy as she played with a few ends of her hair before rubbing her neck and stifling a yawn before slowly slipping her hand onto her curvy hip. "You just me dropping all my books," You missed a good laugh, she thought slowly in her head before looking down to sort her fringe out in her unruly hair.

Jace looked to the boy and raised an eyebrow. Now he really was good looking, more so than the girl. He smirked, he could have some fun here. "Hello Edward," he said, carefully keeping a check of his voice. He had to be friendly to these people, he reminded himself, even if he couldn't care less about them. He wondered briefly what their powers, after all he was at a super hero school. It was quite a fascinating place really so maybe, just maybe, it wouldn't be that bad.

Edward looked to the boy whom Faith had just introduced "Hello Jace." He said simply shifting his coat to his other hand he extended his free one towards the boy" Pleasure to meet you, I'm as your obviously aware. Edward. Edward Masen." He reguared the boy carefully with curiousity he didn't seem to hodl himself in the posture that said 'good' It was rather a posture perhaps best descibed as 'bad'.

Jace smiled and placed his hand back by his side. His eyes shifted to Faith again, "So what's a pretty girl like you doing in such a rush?" he asked, his smile turning into something more of a smirk. He liked to toy with people, liked to see how they reacted to certain comments or movements. In all, people fascinated him, even though he didn't really enjoy their company. He was much more at home in one of his many forms, especially the wolf.

Faith raised her eyebrow, she wasn't suprised that he had said that, to be honest, she thought that everyone in this school was a flirt and she was getting fed up of it. The only decent person she had met was Edward whom she had take a liking too, she nodded to the compliment however, just so she didn't appear rude to him. "Why thank you, Im always in a rush, I had to go and meet someone." She added, when she faced Edward, he was the one she was going to meet.

Jace glanced at the cute boy - Edward he remembered was his name - and raised an eyebrow. He could see the way that Faith looked at Edward and noticed the connection between the two of them, even if they didn't know it themselves. His smirk grew as he thought of the fun he could have. The girl obviously wasn't interested so maybe he could toy with the boy a bit?

Edward watched the conversation, sayign little, purely becasu there was little he could say. He smiled to Faith as she looked to him at her comment. They had indded arranged to meet up jsut to reach a better level of understanding. He then looked to the boy. Jace. Although true, Edward disliked the whole flirting thing to a potential relationshi[, there was little he could really do. Other then he supposed make nice with Jace, It was possible for a friendship, just maybe. "I'm gathering you new here? Well I presume, I myself am new."

Jace smiled, "Yes my father thought it would be better for me to be at school for my last year. Well it seems like an interesting place at first sight," he said, glancing around the gardens. He could see himself spending a lot of time out here and hopefully he would be able to hide himself by transforming. Unless of course it was illegal to use his powers at the school.

"So far it's alright, I personally don't like it much, but that my opinion, I try to see others, they seem to enjoy it." He stated and glanced around the gardens in turn. The he glanced to Faith with a small smile before he looked back to Jace "It's not all that exciting in realtity, people often telling you how to live, we are free to make out own decisions, That's all I stand by." He stated then the thed of them begun to walk over toward a seprate section of the gadens where Edward then sat down, dumping his bag beside him, and his jacket on top.

Jace cocked his head slightly, wondering whether this boy had an issue with authority. It would certainly make things more interesting if he did. His lips twitched into a smirk then he looked to Faith, "Shall we join him?" he asked, holding out his arm to her. Always the gentleman. Of course she would probably refuse, she didn't seem to like his flirting much.

"Why not," Faith laughed softly as she took his inked arm in hers as they began to head towards Edward, a smile staining her peach lips as they then sat down next to him, Faith then placing her bag beside her, but her eyes always looking between the two boys. Her mind wandered, there was so many different personalities, there weren't many people who looked the same apart from Jace who reminded her of Nick from the inky arms, twisted with beautiful patterns and drawings.

Jace was surprised by her taking his offered arm and smiled to himself. Perhaps these people weren't as predictable as he first thought. Maybe he would have a chance with her after all, but she wouldn't be the shag now, leave later, type he didn't think. Maybe he wouldn't go there. His eyes strayed to the boy again and he cocked his head slightly, thinking. Maybe he would be up for it or maybe not, he hadn't quite worked him out yet.

Edward watched as the two of them sat, He himself sat cross legged on the grassidly as before he picked at it. At that moment he looked up and caught Jace looking at him in an odd way, Edward. Unsure simpley returned the smile in a causal way. "So.." He begun to break the silence. "Jace, How are you finding Sky High on your first day? Met anyone intesting?" he mused softly glancing between them he picked casually at the grass before he flicked it at no one in particular.

Jace smiled, "This place is certainly intriguing... And no, the only two interesting people i have met are sitting right next to me." He smirked and glanced to Faith, winking slightly. "So tell me something, do they allow you to use your powers whenever you want here?" he asked to no one in particular, hoping the answer would be 'yes'. But even if it wasn't, that wasn't going to stop him from transforming whenever he wanted.

"Of course you can use them whenever you want," Faith smiled softly, "even if some us are rubbish." She mused as she the fiddled with the end of her hair, twirling it around loosely with her finger as she then looked up to Jace, he was defiantly a flirt. She laugh softly at his wink as she then leant down slowly, propping herself up with her elbows, not caring if a bit of her flat stomach was showing, it was toned after all so she had nothing to hide.

Jace cocked his head slightly then turned to look at Edward, "What powers do you have?" he asked, first looking at Edward then at Faith. He wondered whether they would tell him or not. It must be pretty hard to keep your powers a secret here when they were tested nearly everyday. He looked around trying to see if there was anyone he recognised from his town or lessons.

Edward glanced over to Faith and smiled softly "Your talents arn't ubbish, at least yous can't..hurt anybody" he added with a soft angelic shrug. Edward shifted back so he lent back against a tree, one leg was stretched out infront of him the outher he bought up and rested his arm casually on it, whilst his other arm picked at the gass still each movement his tendons in his arm flexed. He glanced up over towards Jace "Telekenis and Pryokenisis(sp) It's nothing entierly special" He fowned lightly casting his gaze to the gound "In fact it's moe of a weapon rather then a talent. I'm not proud of them, Thats all."

Jace raised his eyebrows. It was strange that this boy seemed to not like his powers, even though they shared one in common. "Ahh i have telekinesis too," he said, leaving out his shape-shifting. He enjoyed abusing that power too much to let it slip at what he could do. He was confused at the fact that some people may not what they could do, it was something which he loved doing, being able to control people and objects, make them do what he wanted. But perhaps Edward couldn't control his.
