Lost and Confused

Possibly one of the biggest things that annoyed Faith was being the new girl and having no clue where she was. But, time went on, along with days and weeks, then months and she new her way around by now and she just had to figure out the large Library which was full of light due to the ceiling with a glass roof, it left nothing hiding in corners everything was lit up by the sunlight along with Faith's electric blue eyes as the panned the room, trying to find a book that would satisfy her needs of boredom.

Edward with a map in hand soon found his way to the libary, he had a few books to get out that he would read and study and learn, After all there wasn't much else he could do. Pushing open the door to the libary, it swung open it was realtivly silent in the place, obviously it made sense for it to be silent. With a soft sigh, he pocketed his map, he hardly needed it really he had memorized it. Making his way into the many book shelves, he skimmed them, running his finger over each spin for anything remotely intresting. Finnaly he found one book to which he needed to aid in elemental control, flipping the book open his emerald green eyes trailed over the books contents, he then too flipped a few pages on and skim read, idly.

Faith turned the corner and she froze as she bit her lip and saw the boy from lunch, her eyes skimmed over him and then she quickly retorted back as she leant against the shelf, smiling to herself, amused and intrigued with him. He was fascinating, he didn't look like the other boys but she was guessing that he was older, too old and mature for some silly sidekick. She kicked an stone on the floor which was obviously invisible before she stumbled over her own feet as the clutz she was, she needed to get away from him, incase he caught her gawping over him.

Satisfied with the current book Edward placed it on the table just beside him, before he pulled out another, equally facinating. Once again skimming a few pages, he placed the book on the table on top of the previous one. It was then he felt as if he was being watched. Pausing as he was he cast his gaze upward a fraction as his eyes scanned the libary, he caught sight of a girl not to far away leaning against a book shelf. What's more she was the one looking at him, he frowned a fraction. His emerald green eyes caught her lightly, he wasn't one to socailize, so reluctantly almost he turned away and continued his browsing.

With her agility she moved quickly through the library right over to the far side as she picked up a random back that happened to be in her grasp before looking to it and flicking through the pages as she read about manipulating fire, it seemed interesting so she thought she would sit down and read it. The library was semi-empty as she made her way through to find somewhere to sit, moving over to a small seating area where she set the book out and then started to read, but her mind buzzed, who was that boy?

Edward with a final third book, placed it on the desk, only to see the same girl sitting there and reading one of his books. He frowned, did people not even have manors now? or were they just plain rude? Edward looked to her long and hard before he finally spoke, his Britsh accent strong and poliet, soft and formal. "Excuse me, But you happen to be reading one of my Books, And I would like it back please?" He half demanded more so then asked, he held out his hand to take it.

Faith looked startled as she gazed to him, almost sighing she stood up, even if he was a fair bit taller than her she still looked up to him, her eyes meeting his as she then shook her head, "Excuse me, but even if this was your book, you could at least have manors and use a decent tone?" She whispered sweetly as she rolling her eyes as she looked to the book, almost laughing as she placed the book back in his hands as she then slowly pushed it into his chest, "Wasn't at all that interesting," She whispered slyly under her breath.

He glowered to her, as she stood when did people become so rude, he was mearly stating a fact. "If it is my book, i'd like to think others have manors in the rule of respecting other people's property. For your imformation, My tone was quite reasonable given the situation, clearly you mis-heard and/or misunderstood my interpritation of the statement." He added, As the book was suddenly pushed to his chest. "Maybe not for you, obviously." He muttered in return, his eyes fixated upon her.

She felt a small growl building up in her chest as she then grinded her teeth together as she shook her head, with her fringe falling out of shape as she lifted her hands up, as if she wanted to hit him but resisted as she pushed her hand through her hair instead, fixing it into shape as she let out a long sigh. Closing her eyes she then gazed to him, her eyes never leaving his as she felt her lips twisting into a smirk yet again, something about his was addictive yet a genuine smile never came to her lips.

His eyes flashed to her hands at the sudden movement, yet the contact never came. As he gazed at her for a moment longer, he finally looked away and gathered up his books into a neat pile as he tucked them under his arms. Thankful she had no obvious come back. Another slight movement caught his attention, bewhildered he watched her expression change, then as a smile broke out across her lips, he was perplexed by the swift change. The girl was extreamly odd, that or she had a very warped sense of humour, that to which was strangely alluring.

A giggle escaped as she bit her lip and rolled her electric blue eyes as she let her smirk twist, before she then pushed some of her hair over one of her shoulders before shifting her top and looking around, "Don't you have to go collect your other book from that boy over there? You sure thats not your book either?" She laughed, her eyes glowering on him as she tilted her head, they were playing some game that included teasing each other, tormenting and yet Faith was enjoying it, her smirk showed it as her eyes twinkled like stars in the night sky.

Edward still perplexed at her mood swings, frowned as she soon giggled. It was a very odd quiant sound, he relaized how much he had truely missed civilization, he remembered the one time, he laughed and played, yet that seemed like a distant shadow of a dream. Reluctantly Edward even followed gesture towards a boy, till he realized to late she was teasing. "Ha, Ha. Very amusing i'm sure." He nodded with a small glare towards her, "Don't you have someone else to antagonize?" He added in defense. He rolled his eyes softly. "I stick by exactly what I said from lunch, You are crazy." He muttered flatly. His gaze met hers once again, he was taken aback by the odd excitment, and amusment he saw.

She sighed softly as she shook her head, "Me, Im not crazy, I just have fun, you should try it some time sunshine, maybe you could smile once in a while," She whispered teasingly as she then leaned back as her hands rested on the table, "I was already here, shouldn't you be the one leaving since I gave back what you wanted. Or was it something else you wanted whilst you came over," She whispered as the words melted off her tongue and dripped off her lips as she flashed her set of perfect white teeth, her blue eyes blazing as if there were a fire burning inside.

He frowned to her at her patranizing comment. "If you say so, You are very irritating I hope you are aware of that." He said carelessly and snotishly almost. He looked to her, before he rolled his eyes at her second comment "No actually.." He said watching her subtle movements and noting the alluring sudden tone. He caught her gaze his emerald green eyes held her long and hard, without blinking. His eyes reflected the unseeing fire, blazing bright with emotion, desire perhaps? He slid his gaze past her then walked past her casually buming her shoulder, yet a sudden flare of heat, emotion entwined surfaced. Edward pasue, and glanced over his shoulder to her, his eyes swiftly looked her up and down it was clear in her posture. Surprsingly he smiled, the corners of his lips lifted up into a sudden dazzling charming smile, before he shook his head and headed on to the librian where he got out his books.

His smile hit her like a tonne of bricks as she looked down, anyway, she wasn't going to give in even if his smile made her want to smile. She stared blankly at him as she bit her lip and rolled her eyes as she then walked towards one of the shelves where she got out a book about web-slingers but covered the name of it, it was true, she was ashamed of her freaky power that she didn't know how to control, she soon ambled over towards the librarian and tried to hide the book from Edward's burning gaze.
